The Requirements​

Before you flash the firmware, you will need the following:

• A Windows computer.
• A reliable Micro USB cable.
• A full backup of your important data (flashing will erase everything).
• SP Flash Tool (latest version).
• MTK USB VCOM drivers installed on your PC.

How to Flash the Firmware​

These firmware files are flashed using the SP Flash Tool. Follow these quick steps to get started:

1. Download and install the MTK VCOM drivers on your computer.
2. Download and extract the SP Flash Tool and the Ulefone Armor 8 firmware file of your choice.
3. Run flash_tool.exe as an administrator. Click on "Scatter-loading" and select the MT6771_Android_scatter.txt file from the extracted firmware folder.
4. Ensure the dropdown menu is set to "Download Only". (Do NOT use "Format All + Download" as it can erase your IMEI).
5. Click the green "Download" button. Power off your Ulefone Armor 8 completely. Press and hold the Volume Up button, then connect it to the PC via USB to begin the flashing process.
