The Redmi Note 14 5G (codename "beryl"), rebranded as the POCO M7 Pro 5G in many international markets, features the efficient MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset. It ships with HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 across all regions. Flashing these official Fastboot ROMs is the standard procedure for unbricking the device, fixing crashes, or manually updating.

‼️ CRITICAL WARNING: DEVICE & REGION ‼️
Please verify your device details carefully:
  • Codename Match: This firmware is ONLY for devices with the codename "beryl". This includes both the Redmi Note 14 5G and the POCO M7 Pro 5G.
  • Wrong Device Risk: Do NOT flash this on the 4G version ("tanzanite") or the Pro models ("malachite"/"amethyst"), as they use different chipsets. Flashing the wrong file will hard-brick the device.
  • Region Lock Risk: If you are converting a Chinese Redmi to a Global POCO ROM (or cross-flashing regions), you MUST NOT lock the bootloader. Cross-flashing regions with a locked bootloader will BRICK the phone.
  • Data Loss: Flashing a Fastboot ROM (.tgz) will erase all internal data. Back up your files first.

✅ The Requirements

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
  • PC/Tools: A Windows PC.
  • Bootloader: An unlocked bootloader on your device.
  • Cable: A reliable USB-C cable.
  • Backup: A full backup of your data (Flashing will wipe internal storage).
  • Software: Xiaomi MI Flash Tool installed on your PC.
  • Drivers: MediaTek (MTK) USB drivers installed.

➡️ How to Flash the Firmware

These firmware files are flashed using the Mi Flash Tool. This will erase all your data.

Method 1: Flashing Fastboot ROM (.tgz)

  1. Step 1: Download your chosen
    Code:
    .tgz
firmware file and extract it to a simple folder on your PC (e.g.,
    Code:
    C:\beryl_rom
). Do not use a folder path with spaces.
  2. Step 2: Download, extract, and run MiFlash.exe as an administrator.
  3. Step 3: Power off your phone completely. Boot into Fastboot Mode by pressing and holding the Power + Volume Down buttons until the fastboot logo appears.
  4. Step 4: Connect your phone to the PC via USB. Click the "Refresh" button in Mi Flash Tool.
  5. Step 5: Click "Select" and navigate to the extracted firmware folder (the folder containing the
    Code:
    images
    folder).
  6. Step 6 (CRITICAL): At the bottom of the tool, select "Clean all".
    • WARNING: Do NOT select "Clean all and lock" if you are cross-flashing regions or changing the ROM brand (Redmi to POCO). This will BRICK your phone.
  7. Step 7: Click "Flash" to begin. The process may take several minutes.

Please ensure your device codename is beryl (Redmi Note 14 5G / POCO M7 Pro). Flashing this file on the 4G version ("tanzanite") will permanently damage the device.
