The ZTE Blade A521 is a budget smartphone that, over time, has shown significant software-related issues. Many users report the device becoming extremely slow, laggy, and unresponsive, to the point where it struggles to open the home screen or hangs when a call comes in. Other common complaints include the phone getting stuck in a boot loop (stuck on the ZTE logo), random network or SIM card errors, and applications freezing. Flashing an official stock firmware is the most reliable way to fix these software problems, unbrick a non-responsive phone, or restore the device to its original, stable condition.

Please verify your phone's chipset before flashing. Using the wrong firmware on a different hardware variant will permanently brick your device.
