The Tecno Spark 4 Lite (Model BB4k) is a budget-friendly device powered by the MediaTek MT6580 chipset. Users often face issues such as the device hanging on the Tecno logo (bootloop), system apps crashing, or needing to bypass Factory Reset Protection (FRP). Flashing the official stock firmware is the correct way to fix these software issues, unbrick a dead device, or reset the phone to its factory state.

These firmware files are exclusively for the Tecno Spark 4 Lite (BB4k). Do NOT flash these on the standard Tecno Spark 4 (Model KC8) or the Spark 4 Air (Model KC6), as they use different hardware.

How to Flash the Firmware
The Spark 4 Lite (BB4k) uses a MediaTek CPU, so we use the SP Flash Tool.Method 1: Flashing with SP Flash Tool
- Step 1: Download and extract the Tecno BB4k firmware zip on your PC.
- Step 2: Install MTK drivers if needed.
- Step 3: Run
(SP Flash Tool) as administrator.Code:
flash_tool.exe - Step 4: Click "Scatter-loading" and select the
file from the extracted firmware folder.Code:
MT6580_Android_scatter.txt - Step 5: Select "Download Only" in the dropdown. (Use "Firmware Upgrade" if the phone is stuck in a bootloop).
- Step 6: Click the green Download button.
- Step 7: Power off the phone. Hold Volume Down (or sometimes Volume Up) and connect it to the PC via USB.
- Step 8: Wait for the red, yellow, and finally the Green Tick (Download OK) prompt.
