The Huawei Y9 2019 (JKM-LX1, LX2, LX3) and its Chinese counterpart, the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus (JKM-AL00, TL00), are popular devices powered by the Kirin 710. As these phones have aged, many users report significant performance lag (especially on EMUI 9.1), fast battery drain, and apps crashing. In more severe cases, users face bootloops (stuck on the Huawei logo) or even a dead phone that only shows up on a PC (dead boot / auto-recovery). Flashing an official stock firmware is the only reliable way to fix these software issues, unbrick a stuck device, or downgrade to a more stable EMUI version (like 8.2).

  • Complex Files: This is a highly complex set of files for many different models, regions, and flashing methods. Flashing the wrong file will hard-brick your device.
  • FILE TYPE & METHOD:

  • CHINA vs. GLOBAL (NO GOOGLE APPS):
    • JKM-ALxx / TLxx models are the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus (China). Their firmware (Region C00/C01) DOES NOT HAVE GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES.
    • JKM-LXx models are the Huawei Y9 2019 (Global). Their firmware (C185, C432, C605, etc.) HAS Google Play Services.
    • Flashing a Chinese ROM on a Global phone will remove all Google apps and may fail.

✅ The Requirements​

You will need different tools depending on the method.

For Dload (Method 1):​

  • Storage: A formatted Micro SD card or USB OTG drive (exFAT or FAT32) with at least 8GB-16GB of free space.
  • Backup: A full backup of your personal data.
  • Charge: Your phone charged to at least 50%.

For Advanced ROMs & Board Software (Method 2):​

  • PC/Tools: A Windows PC.
  • Cable: A reliable Micro USB cable.
  • Drivers: Huawei USB COM 1.0 drivers installed on your PC.
  • Software: Specialized PC software (like HMT, SigmaKey, or UPtools).
  • Test Points: (For Board Software) Tools to open the phone and short the test points.

➡️ How to Flash the Firmware​

Method 1: Huawei dload (for ...Dload.zip files)​

  1. Step 1: Download and extract the correct firmware .zip file for your model (e.g.,

  2. Step 2: Inside the extracted files, locate the `dload` folder (which contains a large `update.app` file).
  3. Step 3: Copy the entire `dload` folder to the root directory of your Micro SD card or USB OTG drive.
  4. Step 4: Power off your Huawei Y9 2019 completely.
  5. Step 5: Insert the SD card/OTG. Press and hold all three buttons: Volume Up + Volume Down + Power. Keep holding until the EMUI update screen appears. The phone will automatically find the file and start flashing.
