The "Maya" (MYA) series is a confusing lineup of budget devices sold under different names depending on the region. It is known as the Huawei Y5 2017 in Latin America/Asia, the Huawei Y6 2017 in Europe, and the Huawei Enjoy 7 in China. While most models run on the MediaTek MT6737T (4G) chipset, there is a specific 3G-only version (MYA-U29) that runs on the MediaTek MT6580. Flashing the wrong firmware will hard-brick your device. This collection includes official stock ROMs for unbricking (SP Flash Tool) and updating (Dload).

✅ The Requirements​

To flash these files, you will need:
  • PC/Tools: A Windows PC.
  • Cable: A reliable Micro USB cable.
  • Drivers: MediaTek (MTK) USB VCOM Drivers installed.
  • Software: SP Flash Tool (for Scatter files) or a Micro SD Card (for Dload files).

Use this method for most files listed above (containing "MT6737T", "MT6580", or "Scatter" in the filename).

Method 1: Flashing with SP Flash Tool​

  1. Step 1: Download and extract the firmware zip file. Look for a file ending in

  2. Step 2: Open SP Flash Tool (

    ).
  3. Step 3: Click "Scatter-loading" and select the scatter text file from the firmware folder.
  4. Step 4: Uncheck the "Preloader" box. (This is a safety precaution to avoid hard-bricking if the preloader version mismatches).
  5. Step 5: Click the "Download" button.
  6. Step 6: Power off your phone completely.
  7. Step 7: Connect the phone to the PC via USB cable while holding the Volume Down button.
  8. Step 8: The flashing process should start (red bar followed by yellow bar). Wait for the green checkmark.
