This is a complete firmware collection for the Huawei/Honor Kirin 650 family. This device was sold under many different names, including the Honor 5C (NEM), Honor 7 Lite (NEM), Huawei GT3 (NMO), and Huawei GR5 Mini (NMO). All these phones run on the same Kirin 650 platform. Common user complaints include severe system lag on EMUI 4.1/5.0, fast battery drain, and devices getting stuck in a bootloop (on the Huawei/Honor logo). Flashing an official firmware is the best way to fix these software issues, unbrick a stuck device, or perform a clean installation.

‼️ CRITICAL WARNING: READ BEFORE FLASHING ‼️
  • Complex Files: This is a very complex set of files for many different models and methods. Flashing the wrong file will hard-brick your device.
  • MODEL & REGION: You MUST flash the firmware that matches your exact model (e.g., NEM-L21) and region (e.g., C432).
  • CHINA vs. GLOBAL (NO GOOGLE APPS):
    • NEM-Lxx / NMO-Lxx models are Global and have Google Play Services.
    • NEM-A/T/ULxx (AL10, TL00, UL00) models are for China (C00, C01). Their firmware DOES NOT HAVE GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES. Flashing a Chinese ROM on a Global phone will remove all Google apps.
  • FILE TYPE: There are three different file types here.
    • Dload.zip: Standard packages for the user-friendly SD Card method (Method 1).
    • Advanced RAR/ZIP: These are factory ROMs (mostly for China models) that are NOT dload files. They are flashed with PC tools (Method 2).
    • Board Software (HMT): Factory files for EXPERTS ONLY to repair a dead phone (dead boot) via PC and the test point method (Method 2).
Note: This process will erase all your data. Back up everything first.

✅ The Requirements​

You will need different tools depending on the method.

For Dload (Method 1):​

  • Storage: A formatted Micro SD card or USB OTG drive (exFAT or FAT32) with at least 8GB of free space.
  • Backup: A full backup of your personal data.
  • Charge: Your phone charged to at least 50%.

For Advanced ROMs & Board Software (Method 2):​

  • PC/Tools: A Windows PC.
  • Cable: A reliable Micro USB cable.
  • Drivers: Huawei USB COM 1.0 drivers installed on your PC.
  • Software: Specialized PC software (like HMT, SigmaKey, or UPtools).
  • Test Points: (For Board Software) Tools to open the phone and short the test points.

➡️ How to Flash the Firmware​

Please use the method that corresponds to the file you downloaded.

Method 1: Huawei dload (for ...Dload.zip files)​

Use this method for all files listed in Section 1.
  1. Step 1: Download and extract the correct firmware .zip file for your model (e.g.,
    Code: 
    Honor_7_Lite_NEM-L21...Dload.zip
    ).
  2. Step 2: Inside the extracted files, locate the `dload` folder (which contains a large `update.app` file).
  3. Step 3: Copy the entire `dload` folder to the root directory of your Micro SD card or USB OTG drive.
  4. Step 4: Power off your phone completely.
  5. Step 5: Insert the SD card/OTG. Press and hold all three buttons: Volume Up + Volume Down + Power. Keep holding until the EMUI update screen appears. The phone will automatically find the file and start flashing.

Method 2: Advanced PC Flash (for .rar / HMT / Board files)​

All files in Section 2 and 3 are NOT for the dload method. They are factory ROMs that require special PC software and expert knowledge. Board Software specifically requires you to open the phone and short test points on the motherboard to force a connection. This is for advanced repair only.
