The Realme Flash Tool is a software program that you can use to flash a .ofp file to your phone. Flashing your phone using the tool can fix your phone problems, return it to an older version, or fix a phone that won’t start or is stuck. Many guides need you to use your phone’s settings. But what if your phone is broken and cannot be accessed? This guide shows how to fix both working phones and phones that don’t turn on.
Step 1: Get Everything Ready
You must prepare first. If you skip these steps, you could break your phone.
There are two ways to do this, depending on your phone.

Method B: For a Phone That’s Broken

1. Try Fastboot Mode
This works for phones that are partly broken.
If Fastboot doesn’t work, use EDL mode for Qualcomm phones.

Troubleshooting Some Problems
Step 1: Get Everything Ready
You must prepare first. If you skip these steps, you could break your phone.
- Save Your Stuff: The process will erase all your photos, contacts, and files. Save them somewhere safe.
- Charge Your Phone: Make sure it has at least 60% battery. If it runs out of power, it can cause big problems.
- Unlock the Bootloader: The tool won’t work if the bootloader is locked. Look online for how to unlock it for your phone.
- Download What You Need:
- Realme Flash Tool: Get the newest version from a trusted website.
- Realme USB Drivers: Your computer needs these to find your phone.
- Right Software File: Download the official software file (called.ofp) for your exact phone model. A wrong file can break your phone.
There are two ways to do this, depending on your phone.
Method A: For a Phone That Works
If your phone turns on and you can use settings, do this:
- Turn On USB Debugging:
- Go to Settings > About Phone > Version.
- Tap Build Number 7 times until it says “You’re a developer!”
- Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options and turn on USB Debugging.
- Start the Tool: On your computer, open the flash tool program as an administrator.
- Add the Software File: Click “Browse” and pick the .ofp file you downloaded.
- Connect Your Phone: Use a USB cable to plug your phone into the computer.
- Begin the Process: The tool will find your phone. Click “Flash” to start. Wait for a “Flash Success” message. Your phone will restart.
Method B: For a Phone That’s Broken
If your phone is stuck, won’t turn on, or you can’t use settings, follow these steps to put it in a special mode.
1. Try Fastboot Mode
This works for phones that are partly broken.
- Turn Off the Phone: Hold the Power Button for about 15 seconds.
- Get to Fastboot Mode: When the phone is off, hold Volume Down + Power Buttons until you see the Fastboot screen.
- Connect to Computer: Plug your phone into the computer with a USB cable.
If Fastboot doesn’t work, use EDL mode for Qualcomm phones.
- Turn Off the Phone: Make sure it’s completely off.
- Get to EDL Mode: Hold Volume Up + Volume Down Buttons and plug the phone into the computer. The screen stays black, but your computer should make a sound.
- Check Your Computer: Open Device Manager on your computer. Look for “Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008” under “Ports (COM & LPT)”. If you see it, you’re ready.
When your phone is in Fastboot or EDL mode:
- Open the Flash Tool: Run it as an administrator.
- Add the Software File: Pick the.ofp file like in Method A.
- Find Your Phone: Click “Load Device” or “Refresh” to see your phone.
- Start the Process: Click “Flash” and don’t touch the cable.
- Wait: It takes time. When you see the success message, your phone will restart. The first restart might be slow.
Troubleshooting Some Problems
- Phone Not Seen by the PC: This is usually a driver issue. Install the USB drivers again, try another USB port, or use the original cable.
- Process Doesn’t Work: You might have the wrong software file or a locked bootloader. Check both.
- Phone Still Stuck: If it’s stuck after flashing, go to recovery mode (hold Power + Volume Down) and choose “Wipe data/factory reset”.
