- Codename Match: This firmware is ONLY for the Xiaomi 14 Pro (codename "shennong").
- Wrong Device Risk: Do NOT flash this on the standard Xiaomi 14 ("houji") or Ultra ("aurora"). Flashing the wrong firmware will hard-brick the device.
- Anti-Rollback (ARB): These are Android 16 builds. Downgrading to Android 15 or 14 and locking the bootloader is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and will brick your motherboard.
- No Global ROM: Since no official Global firmware exists, you MUST NOT lock the bootloader if you are using a custom ROM or modified China ROM outside of China.

How to Flash the Firmware
Method 1: Flashing Official Fastboot ROM (.tgz)
- Step 1: Download the
firmware and extract it to a folder on your PC (e.g.,Code:
.tgz). Avoid spaces in the folder path.Code:C:\shennong_rom - Step 2: Open Mi Flash Tool and select the extracted folder.
- Step 3: Boot your phone into Fastboot Mode (Power + Volume Down) and connect to PC.
- Step 4: In Mi Flash, click "Refresh" to detect your device.
- Step 5 (CRITICAL): Select "Clean all" at the bottom.
- WARNING: Do NOT select "Clean all and lock" if you are not using 100% official firmware on a phone intended for the Chinese market. This will brick your device.
- Step 6: Click "Flash" and wait for the "Success" message.
Method 2: Flashing Xiaomi.eu Custom ROM (.zip)
- Step 1: Unlocked Bootloader is mandatory.
- Step 2: Download the
file and extract it on your computer.Code:
.zip - Step 3: Boot your phone into Fastboot Mode.
- Step 4: Run the
script inside the folder.Code:
windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat - Step 5: This will WIPE ALL DATA and install the ROM. Follow the on-screen terminal prompts.
