‼️ CRITICAL WARNING: WI-FI vs 5G MODEL ‼️
Please verify your device model carefully before flashing:
  • Codename Match: This firmware is ONLY for the Redmi Pad Pro (Wi-Fi) / POCO Pad (Wi-Fi) (codename "dizi").
  • Wrong Device Risk: Do NOT flash this on the Redmi Pad Pro 5G / POCO Pad 5G (codename "ruan"). Flashing Wi-Fi firmware on a cellular tablet (or vice versa) will corrupt the modem partition and hard-brick the device.
  • Brand Cross-Flashing: If you are converting between Redmi and POCO branding, you MUST NOT lock the bootloader. Use the "Clean all" option in Mi Flash Tool.

✅ The Requirements​

  • PC/Tools: A Windows PC.
  • Bootloader: An unlocked bootloader on your tablet.
  • Cable: A reliable USB-C cable.
  • Backup: A full backup of your data (Flashing will wipe internal storage).
  • Software: Xiaomi MI Flash Tool installed on your PC.
  • Drivers: Qualcomm USB drivers installed.


➡️ How to Flash the Firmware​

These firmware files are flashed using the Mi Flash Tool. This will erase all your data.

Method 1: Flashing Fastboot ROM (.tgz)​

  1. Step 1: Download your chosen
    Code: 
    .tgz
    firmware file and extract it to a simple folder on your PC (e.g.,
    Code: 
    C:\dizi_rom
    ). Do not use a folder path with spaces.
  2. Step 2: Download, extract, and run MiFlash.exe as an administrator.
  3. Step 3: Power off your tablet completely. Boot into Fastboot Mode by pressing and holding the Power + Volume Down buttons until the fastboot logo appears.
  4. Step 4: Connect your tablet to the PC via USB. Click the "Refresh" button in Mi Flash Tool to detect the device.
  5. Step 5: Click "Select" and navigate to the extracted firmware folder (the folder containing the
    Code: 
    images
    folder).
  6. Step 6 (CRITICAL): At the bottom of the tool, select "Clean all".
    • WARNING: Do NOT select "Clean all and lock" if you are cross-flashing regions or brands. This will BRICK your tablet.
  7. Step 7: Click "Flash" to begin. The process may take several minutes.
