CRITICAL WARNING: REGION & BOOTLOADER - Unified Codename: Both devices share the codename "myron". However, their factory software is different.
- China ROM (.tgz): The official Fastboot ROM is the China version (CN). If you flash this on a global POCO F8 Ultra, you will lose Google Play Services (by default). NEVER lock the bootloader ("Clean all and lock") when flashing China firmware on a Global POCO device, or you will hard-brick it.
- Xiaomi.eu (.zip): This is a custom ROM based on the China version but optimized for global users (GMS included, multi-language). It requires an unlocked bootloader.

The Requirements

How to Flash the Firmware
The flashing method depends on which file you downloaded.Method 1: Flashing Official Fastboot ROM (.tgz)
Use this method for the myron_images...tgz file.- Step 1: Download and extract the
file to a folder on your PC (e.g.,Code:
.tgz).Code:C:\myron - Step 2: Boot your phone into Fastboot Mode (Hold Volume Down + Power while off).
- Step 3: Open Mi Flash Tool and connect your phone via USB.
- Step 4: Click "Refresh" to detect the device, then "Select" to navigate to your extracted ROM folder.
- Step 5 (CRITICAL): Select "Clean all" at the bottom of the window. DO NOT select "Clean all and lock" if you are flashing this China ROM on a global POCO F8 Ultra.
- Step 6: Click "Flash" to begin.
Method 2: Flashing Xiaomi.eu ROM (.zip)
Use this method for the xiaomi.eu...zip file.- Step 1: Extract the zip file on your PC.
- Step 2: Boot your phone into Fastboot Mode.
- Step 3: Run the script file named
from the extracted folder.Code:
