Flashing the correct firmware is essential to avoid Anti-Rollback bricks during this version transition.

DANGER: Anti-Rollback Protection (ARB) is Active. Read carefully!
  • Android 16 (HyperOS 3.0): China (CN) ROM (Build starts with 'W').
  • Android 15 (HyperOS 2.0): Global (MI, EEA, RU, etc.) ROMs (Build starts with 'V').
  • Anti-Rollback Risk: If you have flashed the Android 16 (CN) firmware, DO NOT attempt to flash a Global Android 15 ROM and lock the bootloader. Downgrading the Android version while locking the bootloader will trigger ARB and hard-brick the device.
  • Cross-Flashing: You can switch between regions, but you MUST keep the bootloader UNLOCKED.

✅ The Requirements​

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
  • PC/Tools: A Windows PC.
  • Bootloader: An unlocked bootloader on your Redmi K80 / POCO F7 Pro.
  • Cable: A high-quality USB-C cable.
  • Backup: A full backup of your data (Flashing will wipe internal storage).
  • Software: Xiaomi MI Flash Tool installed on your PC.
  • Drivers: Qualcomm USB drivers installed.


➡️ How to Flash the Firmware​

Choose the method based on the file you downloaded.

Method 1: Flashing Official Fastboot ROM (.tgz)​

  1. Step 1: Download the
    Code: 
    .tgz
    firmware file and extract it to a simple folder on your PC (e.g.,
    Code: 
    C:\zorn_rom
    ). Do not use a folder path with spaces.
  2. Step 2: Download, extract, and run MiFlash.exe as an administrator.
  3. Step 3: Power off your phone completely. Boot into Fastboot Mode by pressing and holding the Power + Volume Down buttons until the fastboot logo appears.
  4. Step 4: Connect your phone to the PC via USB. Click the "Refresh" button in Mi Flash Tool.
  5. Step 5: Click "Select" and navigate to the extracted firmware folder.
  6. Step 6 (CRITICAL): At the bottom of the tool, select "Clean all".
    • WARNING: Do NOT select "Clean all and lock" if you are cross-flashing regions or downgrading Android versions (A16 -> A15). This will BRICK your phone.
  7. Step 7: Click "Flash" to begin. The process may take several minutes.

Method 2: Flashing Xiaomi.eu ROM (.zip)​

  1. Step 1: Extract the
    Code: 
    xiaomi.eu...zip
    file on your PC.
  2. Step 2: Boot your phone into Fastboot Mode.
  3. Step 3: Run the script
    Code: 
    windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat
    included in the folder.
  4. Step 4: Type 'Y' to confirm. This will wipe data and install the ROM.
