DANGER: Anti-Rollback Protection is Active. Check the Android version!
  • Wrong Chipset: Do NOT flash this on the standard Redmi A3 ("blue"). The A3 uses a MediaTek chipset, while the A3x uses Unisoc. Flashing this will hard-brick the A3.
  • Android 16 ('W' Build): If you are on the Global or Russia Android 16 build, DO NOT attempt to flash the India Android 15 ('V' Build) and lock the bootloader. Downgrading the Android version with a locked bootloader will trigger ARB and brick the phone.
  • Cross-Flashing: If switching between Android 15 and 16 regions, you MUST keep the bootloader UNLOCKED.

✅ The Requirements​

  • PC/Tools: A Windows PC.
  • Bootloader: An unlocked bootloader on your Redmi A3x.
  • Cable: A reliable USB-C cable.
  • Backup: A full backup of your data (Flashing will wipe internal storage).
  • Software: Xiaomi MI Flash Tool installed on your PC.
  • Drivers: Unisoc USB Drivers (Required for this Unisoc T603 chipset).


➡️ How to Flash the Firmware​

These firmware files are flashed using the Mi Flash Tool. This will erase all your data.

Method 1: Flashing Fastboot ROM (.tgz)​

  1. Step 1: Download your chosen
    Code: 
    .tgz
    firmware file and extract it to a simple folder on your PC (e.g.,

    C:\klein_rom
    ). Do not use a folder path with spaces.
  2. Step 2: Download, extract, and run MiFlash.exe as an administrator.
  3. Step 3: Power off your phone completely.
  4. Step 4: Boot into Fastboot Mode by pressing and holding the Power + Volume Down buttons until the fastboot logo appears.
  5. Step 5: Connect your phone to the PC via USB. Click the "Refresh" button in Mi Flash Tool to detect the device.
  6. Step 6: Click "Select" and navigate to the extracted firmware folder (the folder containing the

  7. Step 7 (CRITICAL): At the bottom of the tool, select "Clean all".
    • WARNING: Do NOT select "Clean all and lock" if you are cross-flashing regions or downgrading Android versions (A16 -> A15). This will BRICK your phone.
  8. Step 8: Click "Flash" to begin. The process may take several minutes.
