The Redmi 15C (4G) and the POCO C85 share the internal codename "dew". These devices are essentially identical hardware rebrands powered by the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset. Because they share the same "dew" firmware base, the files provided below can generally be used for both devices, provided you manage the bootloader correctly when cross-flashing regions.

  • Correct Codename: These files are ONLY for devices with codename "dew" (Redmi 15C 4G / POCO C85).

✅ The Requirements​

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
  • PC/Tools: A Windows PC.
  • Bootloader: An unlocked bootloader on your device.
  • Cable: A reliable USB-C cable.
  • Backup: A full backup of your data (Flashing will wipe internal storage).
  • Software: Xiaomi MI Flash Tool installed on your PC.
  • Drivers: MediaTek (MTK) USB drivers installed.


➡️ How to Flash the Firmware​

These firmware files are flashed using the Mi Flash Tool. This will erase all your data.

Method 1: Flashing Fastboot ROM (.tgz)​

  1. Step 1: Download your chosen
    Code: 
    .tgz
    firmware file and extract it to a simple folder on your PC (e.g.,

    C:\dew_rom
    ). Do not use a folder path with spaces.
  2. Step 2: Download, extract, and run MiFlash.exe as an administrator.
  3. Step 3: Power off your phone completely. Boot into Fastboot Mode by pressing and holding the Power + Volume Down buttons until the fastboot logo appears.
  4. Step 4: Connect your phone to the PC via USB. Click the "Refresh" button in Mi Flash Tool to detect the device.
  5. Step 5: Click "Select" and navigate to the extracted firmware folder (the folder containing the

  6. Step 6 (CRITICAL): At the bottom of the tool, select "Clean all".
    • WARNING: Do NOT select "Clean all and lock" if you are cross-flashing regions (e.g., using a Global ROM on a POCO C85 that came with a different regional ROM). This will brick your phone.
  7. Step 7: Click "Flash" to begin. The process may take several minutes.
