Flashing these official Fastboot ROMs is the recommended method to unbrick the device, fix bootloops, or manually update.

‼️ CRITICAL WARNING: 4G vs 5G MODEL & CROSS-FLASHING ‼️
Please verify your device model carefully before flashing:
  • Codename Match: This firmware is ONLY for the Redmi 13 (4G) / POCO M6 4G (codename "moon").
  • Wrong Device Risk: Do NOT flash this on the Redmi 13 5G ("breeze") or other variants. Flashing the wrong file will hard-brick the device due to chipset differences.
  • POCO/Redmi Cross-Flashing: If you are flashing a Redmi-branded ROM onto a POCO device (or vice versa), you MUST NOT lock the bootloader. Selecting "Clean all and lock" will BRICK the phone.

✅ The Requirements​

  • PC/Tools: A Windows PC.
  • Bootloader: An unlocked bootloader on your Redmi 13 / POCO M6 4G.
  • Cable: A reliable USB-C cable.
  • Backup: A full backup of your data (Flashing will wipe internal storage).
  • Software: Xiaomi MI Flash Tool installed on your PC.
  • Drivers: MediaTek (MTK) USB drivers installed.


➡️ How to Flash the Firmware​

These firmware files are flashed using the Mi Flash Tool. This will erase all your data.

Method 1: Flashing Fastboot ROM (.tgz)​

  1. Step 1: Download your chosen
    Code: 
    .tgz
    firmware file and extract it to a simple folder on your PC (e.g.,
    Code: 
    C:\moon_rom
    ). Do not use a folder path with spaces.
  2. Step 2: Download, extract, and run MiFlash.exe as an administrator.
  3. Step 3: Power off your phone completely. Boot into Fastboot Mode by pressing and holding the Power + Volume Down buttons until the fastboot logo appears.
  4. Step 4: Connect your phone to the PC via USB. Click the "Refresh" button in Mi Flash Tool to detect the device.
  5. Step 5: Click "Select" and navigate to the extracted firmware folder (the folder containing the

    images
    folder).
  6. Step 6 (CRITICAL): At the bottom of the tool, select "Clean all".
    • WARNING: Do NOT select "Clean all and lock" if you are cross-flashing regions or flashing a Redmi ROM on a POCO device (or vice versa). This will BRICK your phone.
  7. Step 7: Click "Flash" to begin. The process may take several minutes.
