The POCO X6 Pro 5G (codename "duchamp"), known as the Redmi K70E in China, is a high-performance device powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra. The software is split: China is on Android 16 (HyperOS 3.0), while Global variants are on Android 15 (HyperOS 2.0).

DANGER: Anti-Rollback Protection is Active. Check the Android version!
  • Android 16 (HyperOS 3.0): China (CN) ROM (Build starts with 'W').
  • Android 15 (HyperOS 2.0): Global, EEA, India, etc., ROMs (Build starts with 'V').
  • Anti-Rollback Risk: If your phone is on an Android 16 ('W' build), DO NOT attempt to flash an Android 15 ROM ('V' build) and lock the bootloader. This will trigger ARB and hard-brick the device.

➡️ How to Flash the Firmware​

These firmware files are flashed using the Mi Flash Tool. This will erase all your data.

Method 1: Flashing Fastboot ROM (.tgz)​

  1. Step 1: Download your chosen
    Code: 
    .tgz
    firmware file and extract it to a simple folder on your PC (e.g.,

    C:\duchamp_rom
    ). Do not use a folder path with spaces.
  2. Step 2: Download, extract, and run MiFlash.exe as an administrator.
  3. Step 3: Power off your phone completely. Boot into Fastboot Mode by pressing and holding the Power + Volume Down buttons until the fastboot logo appears.
  4. Step 4: Connect your phone to the PC via USB. Click the "Refresh" button in Mi Flash Tool to detect the device.
  5. Step 5: Click "Select" and navigate to the extracted firmware folder (the folder containing the

    images
    folder).
  6. Step 6 (CRITICAL): At the bottom of the tool, select "Clean all".
    • WARNING: Do NOT select "Clean all and lock" if you are cross-flashing regions or downgrading Android versions (A16 -> A15). This will BRICK your phone.
  7. Step 7: Click "Flash" to begin. The process may take several minutes.
