The Huawei P30 (named "Elle") is a great phone, but it can have software problems. Things like the battery draining fast, Wi-Fi cutting out, or the phone getting stuck on the logo (bootloop). Putting new, official firmware on your phone is the best way to fix these issues.

- China vs. Global: The China file (ELE-AL00) DOES NOT HAVE GOOGLE APPS. Do not put a China file on a Global phone, or the other way around. This is very risky.
- File Type: We have two types:
- Dload Files: These are the easy ones for the SD Card method. (Use Method 1).
- Advanced ROMs: Files like `HMT` or `Sigma` are for experts with special PC tools. They are NOT for the SD card method.
- Data Wipe: Flashing will erase ALL your data. Make a full backup first.

Things You Need (For Dload Method ONLY)
To flash the easy dload firmware (Section 1), you need:
- SD Card: A formatted Micro SD card or USB stick (at least 8GB).
- Computer: A Windows PC to open the file.
- Backup: A full backup of all your personal data (flashing will erase everything).
- Charge: Your phone must be charged to at least 50%.
How to Flash the Firmware
Method 1: Huawei dload (for Dload.zip files)
Use this for all files in Section 1. This is the easy, safe method.- Extract File: Open the correct firmware `.zip` file for your phone.
- Find Folder: Look for the folder named `dload` (it has a big `update.app` file inside).
- Copy to Card: Copy the entire `dload` folder onto the main part (root) of your Micro SD card or USB stick.
- Power Off: Turn your phone completely OFF.
- Start Flash: Put the card/stick in. Press and hold all three buttons: Volume Up + Volume Down + Power. Hold them until the update screen comes up. The phone will start the flash by itself.
Method 2: Advanced Flash (Expert Users Only)
CRITICAL WARNING The files in Section 2 are NOT for a normal user.
- Purpose: These files are special factory ROMs for fixing a phone that is completely broken ("hard-bricked").
- Tools Needed: You must have special computer tools (like SigmaKey or HMT) and often need to open the phone to use test points.
- Danger: If you try to flash these files using Method 1 (the SD card method), you will break your phone. This method is only for experts in phone repair.
