The Requirements
For Mi Flash Tool (Official .tgz ROMs)
- PC/Hardware: A Windows PC and a reliable USB-C cable.

How to Flash the Firmware
Method 1: Using Xiaomi MI Flash Tool (for .tgz files)
Use this for all official Fastboot ROMs.- Extract ROM: Download and extract your chosen `.tgz` file to a simple folder on your PC.
- Start Tool: Run MiFlash.exe as an administrator.
- Fastboot Mode: Power off the phone. Hold Power + Volume Down until the fastboot logo appears. Connect to PC.
- Load ROM: Click "refresh" in the tool. Your device serial should appear. Click "select" and point to the extracted ROM folder.
- Select Option: At the bottom, select "clean all". DO NOT select "clean all and lock" unless you are 100% sure of the region.
- Flash: Click "Flash" to start the process.
Method 2: Using Custom Recovery (for xiaomi.eu .zip file)
Use this method ONLY for the `xiaomi.eu...zip` file.- Transfer File: Copy the `.zip` file to your phone's storage (or OTG drive).
- Recovery Mode: Power off. Hold Power + Volume Up to boot into custom recovery (TWRP).
- Wipe Data: Go to "Wipe". For a clean flash, use "Advanced Wipe" and select Dalvik/ART Cache, Cache, System, and Data. This is mandatory.
- Install: Go to the main menu, select "Install", and choose the `xiaomi.eu...zip` file. Swipe to confirm.
- Reboot: Reboot the system when the installation is finished.
